Take a look at the BBC North West news video depicting the Americans at Burtonwood and their role in the Berlin Airlift

U.S. Army

Burtonwood was taken over by the U.S. Army on the 2nd of January 1967 and they remained until its closure.  Even though there is a page dedicated to the Army we have very few contributions from members.  However Mike Autry has sent a whole collection of photographs from his time at Burtonwood which he would like to share.  Click here to see Mike Autry's pictures.
