A and E Site Open Day

English Partnerships opened A and E Sites to the public on Friday 3rd October.  The buildings are due for imminent demolition so English Partnerships laid on extra security staff, barriers, transport, lighting, generators and biscuits so people could take one last look inside the buildings.  Umbrellas were also provided, but despite the previous four days of heavy rain, the sun came out for this event. See the pictures of E Site here.  The pictures of A Site are here.

VIPs

Ian Murphy has passed on a disk to me containing a collection of pictures of VIPs.  Many are from Wally Baldwin.  View them here

Do you Recognise This Drinking Establishment?

A request from Don Konley.  Does anyone recognise this picture or more specifically the drinking establishment?  It shows Ken Belcher on the steps of a wooden building with brick footings
